Recruit King was founded by tenured executive search veteran, Mike King - who is very proud to call himself a headhunter. It is a term - and more importantly a skill - that many prefer to avoid.

Mike sees things differently. He believes that great headhunters bring perception and insight to the table, when it comes to recruiting for important client roles. He believes that great headhunters deeply get to know their customers’ talent requirements, then apply disciplined research, outreach, and genuine relationship-building to generate relevant candidate interest in each unique opportunity.

Long an advocate of exclusively targeting non-active candidates with specific roles (as opposed to simply building up a non-specific candidate database), Mike firmly believes that it takes a unique headhunter’s skill set to not only capture a prospective candidate’s attention - but to genuinely break through in a market where that top talent you’re looking for is almost always gainfully employed.
